Restraint System

Restraint systems have the task of minimising the risk of injury to passengers inside the vehicle. A restraint system for a front-end crash consists of correctly worn seat belts with belt tensioners and belt-force limiters, the driver and front-passenger airbag and possibly a knee airbag, the safety steering column and correctly positioned seats and head restraints.
