Water-Soluble Paints

Conventional paints contain organic solvents that are harmful to the environment. During application and drying they enter the air, which then has to be purified at great effort and cost. In recent years high-quality paints have been developed in which water largely takes the place of solvents. The solvent content of the filler and basecoat paints used at Volkswagen, for example, has been reduced by more than 85 percent. In addition, our paint shops increasingly use economical, fully automatic paint application techniques. Processing these paints requires a high level of professionalism, precisely controlled climatic conditions and the most stringent standards of cleanliness.
